I have been very delinquent with myself on the blogorama lately. Sorry. Honestly for whatever reason there hasnt been much to say. Life is going well. Things are good! Nothing to rant about I guess. Still there are a few things I would like to comment on.
Lost: Noooooooo.... crap now I have to wait another 7 months to find out what happens. That is a long time given the freakin cliffhanger we were left with. This season was a total blast. I loooooved it. What a good ride but dang!
Christian-gaming.com: Awesome website to get connected with other Christian gamers on whatever system. They are friendly and welcoming, it is just very cool being a part of that now.
Star Trek: Wow... just wow. If you havent seen it you need to. It is just an awesome movie let alone one for fans. I think pretty much anyone would like it, but fans would go bananas for it I think. I loved every minute of it and I think if I was a kid I would have been in absolute awe of this one.
Wolverine: Works well with the other X-Men movies. I dont know that I see this as a good thing. Those movies havent aged well in my opinion and they are only a few years old! Comic book movies have just gotten much more sophisticated with their storytelling that plot devices that turn people into mutants etc just do not work well. Wolverine felt like a throwback and while it was fun it was just this weird paradox... a comic book movie that was of no use to a comic fan...
Retro: I have been feeding myself a lot of nostalgia lately but I love that pop culture right now is giving me lots to feed on. How bizarre and awesome is it to have GI Joe and Transformers coming to theaters in the same year?!?! Plus I just discovered GI Joe Resolute on Youtube and it is hands down the best GI Joe story ever. To top it off I have been watching a lot of my old animation collection and enjoying shows that pay honor to those shows like Robot Chicken, Harvey Birdman (hilarious if you havent seen it) and just all kinds of stuff. Now if they could just make a wicked He-Man movie like I keep hearing about I will be in geek heaven.
Benjamin Button: *snore* huh... whu... I must have fallen asleep, what happened?... Nothing.... Oh.... *snooze*
Baby: I have been feeling the kicking lately, pretty cool. It still feels kind of otherworldly, like this isnt happening to us. I know it is and I am so excited for it. Its just weird cause we bought a stroller and a carseat, but I guess just feels like life hasnt changed yet. It will though and I am sayin bring it on!
