OK now I know all you prairie folks are going, "Oh boohoo, a little snow, what have you got like 3 inches." (which sounds like an entirely different and wholly unsavoury conversation but essentially the point is the same) Yes we probably have only a few inches at this time, the problem is that you also have a million people who drive like its a sunny day in California when it snows out. A million people turn into instant morons because they figure if they drive an SUV the laws of physics in regards to ice and friction dont apply to them. On the bright side I can watch Canada's Funniest Home videos tonight in the form of the local news as people attempt to prevent themselves from sliding by slamming on the brakes and into three parked cars or by stepping on the gas because it has helped them get uphill in the past.
As I look out the window it is really coming down out there, I cant see more than a block or so past the wet sticky snow. The bigger issue is that the inlaws are coming in today at the Abbotsford airport and I have to drive out there. It will be a gong show of the highest gongage. Good thing they came out here to get out of the cold and snow.... hahahahahaha.
