PSWeak

OK, dont get me wrong. I know how blessed I am to own a PS3, and I know it is a luxury item but can I gripe for a second? For the umpteenth time since I got the thing I sat down to play a game only to have the game on startup announce it needed updating at which point I let out a cry of emotional anguish. Why? Well, because you never know what these updates are gonna look like. Sometimes it'll be 32 meg sometimes bigger. I was excited when the new add-on for a little diversion game called Pain came out, so I download it and sat down to play... game needs an update... OK... 211 meg, which with the PS3 will take like an hour... and this happens with many different games. What the crap? After being a PC gamer for years I switched to consoles so I wouldnt have to deal with installing stuff all the time and now it turns out the PS3 does the same dang thing, and in this case you get no warning, and the best part is... you cant do anything while it is updating... you just have to let it go... no background download... no watch a video while its happening... just let it go. I mean I wanted to play PAIN but this is not what I meant...
