Ok, so I discovered a new band I totally love. Well, discover may be a strong word. I watched the Muchmusic Countdown for once and caught this video and it was totally killer...
The sound is pure 80s/90s cheese rock and the video is perfectly cliched. I know none of this is intentional but who gives a crap, the song totally kicks ass. I got the album and the whole thing is very listenable. Best I Ever Had has been stuck in my head for days and that doesnt happen really often. They also have a song called too pretty that is totally amazing... let's see if I can find it here somewhere... yep here it is...
Great hooks to these songs huh! And as far as I can tell they are Canadian too! I may just have to go to a concert when these guys come to town. I love hearing a band's song and instantly knowing I am going to like most of what they do, it has been happening fairly frequently in the last year or so, We the Living, OneRepublic, these guys are all really good.
