Today was a beautiful today. So many amazing things to see! Elephant seals, and vistas that were truly breathtaking, the smell of the ocean constantly in our noses. Unfortunately the ocean sometimes smells like someone took a dump in it. Seriously though it was a great relaxed day of driving and taking pics.
When we finally got to San Francisco it was dark and I gotta say I am not sure I like this town that much. It feels kind of scary actually. It is just crammed together. All the buildings and everything are so close so you feel claustrophobic, and on top of it the place smells funny and there is an abnormally large number of weird people around. The hotel we are staying at is OK, the room is tiny though and everything seems to cost a "nominal fee", even local calls are .75 cents. Stupid. It is cozy though, I just didnt expect it to be so crazy feeling here.
