Surge

As I look at my stats, I see that I am on the cusp of an anniversary. I am coming up on my 300th post. Expect to see a surge in the writing over the next week or so as I kind of want to get to that landmark, and I am already working on what that post will be. Until then some of it will be Up Songs, maybe a few stories and some jokes, whatever it is I hope you will enjoy it.

Journaling has always eluded me, I used to hate the very idea of writing my thoughts down and having them on record. I have often felt the same way about pictures. I have never put my hand up to deny a shot but at the same time I am not super keen on being in them. For some reason the idea of there being a record of my existence is not something I have been interested in and at times I feel like if anything I campaign against there being a written or visual record of me and if you asked me to put my finger on it I couldnt. But this blog has changed everything for me, at least in terms of the written part. It has made for some interesting exchanges over time, but mostly it has been a creative outlet for me so heading into this anniversary is kind of cool. It represents change in me, and I think the 300th post will reflect that!
