Random stuff

First of all... Happy New Year to you and yours! Hopefully your Christmas was quiet and old man Winter wasnt too hard on you. We got cooped up at home and it was the best thing for us!

I do a lot of shopping on Amazon and it always amazes me what some people will charge for new and used DVDs as a seller through them. How about 75 bucks for season 9 of Seinfeld when I have never ever seen at a retail store for that much! Or maybe Fawlty Towers (which retails for 19.99 on Amazon) for 88.94! Who buys these things? Why would someone pay that much for a DVD they could get literally anywhere else? What are the people posting the listing thinking? If you are trying to sell things, post a reasonable price!!! Otherwise you are just telling people, "Hey, I own this DVD and might sell it, but really I just wanted to show it to you while you were shopping."

For the second time in as many months we are Surroundless. Our new reciever, which replace the old one that died, was malfunctioning after only a month we took it back. No more Sony receivers for me. I now am holding out on a few Blu-Rays I want to watch so I can watch them in true High-Def sound when our new reciever comes.

Just looked outside... huh, it is really freaking snowing out there... again. OK, I am ready for this to stop now...
