One weak

This week I have:
)Gone to a conference, which was pretty cool, and yet I cant shake this feeling that I cant stand going to them. I like to see my friends and catch up, I dont like session after session that I feel does little overall to impact my life. The speakers aren't bad, the matters being discussed are good, just not for me.

)Gone another week with a fractured foot bone (which they apparently do nothing about now). It hurts somewhat but the Charcot-Marie Tooth has taken care of most of the pain, which both makes me feel tough and frightens me a little.

)Double booked myself and felt like an idiot. It seems like no matter how much planning I do it still happens on occasion and it bugs the crap out of me when it does. It's sorted now but I feel less professional when it happens.

)Gone through a transformation of sorts. I bought a new suit, some new shirts and ties, and that is my new wardrobe for work. I like it, I love it actually, I am however bothered by the "what's the special occasion?" cracks. It wears thin quickly and doesnt encourage one to keep it up. But I did this for me, I am finally moving past college clothes and brain and moving in to the adult world.

)Watched the best episode of CSI ever. I cried, not simply because a main character died but because of the way it was handled. The emotion, the pain, and the loss all rung true to my own experiences and I think that was very cool.

)Had my feeling about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull totally validated via South Park.

)Bought a free-range organic turkey for thanksgiving. It was 40 dollars. I did not know that a non-organic turkey (which are usually made of lead and mercury apparently) runs about 15 bucks. This turkey better taste like awesome drenched in supercalifragilistics and be expialadelicious.

)Seen our kitchen get so near completion it can be called done. The trim got done yesterday and I would like to publicly thank Dodd for his help, the man is a genious with home improvement stuff.
