I hate it when life gets so busy you can hardly breathe. That is certainly the case lately. Between appointments, weddings, services, and personal stuff there has been a lot going on lately and it's gonna be that way for the next three weeks or so. I certainly feel fulfilled in these times but at the same time, I have a hard time remembering where the time went. It's not like I don't get any time with Candace, or that I can't see my shows, it's more about keeping all my appointments straight and the emotional output times like this require. It all becomes a mixed blur of excitement and fun mixed with exhaustion and sleepiness. Here are some random thoughts from the last little bit though.
- I now have a cell phone/PDA. It can do all kinds of things, sadly I still can't seemed to find a pair of matched socks.
- Midway is developing a Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe game. Can't wait to use Superman's fatality J (Apparently this is one of the issues with bringing the two universes together.)
- I am love love loving the new Doctor Who stuff, just starting watching the 2005 reboot recently and I am completely hooked.
- Green Lantern is arguably the best written comic out there right now and I look forward to it and its sister title Green Lantern Corps every week they come out.
- There Will Be Blood is a movie that I cannot decided whether to love or hate. I was never bored nor did I feel really like it went anywhere. It had deep themes but don't ask me how those were resolved. It would probably require another viewing to understand but I have no interest in watching it again.
- I am getting very excited about Iron Man and a great deal of this summer's movies. Hancock was just added to my list after the preview on AI last night.
- I have much housework to do including painting, moving furniture around and all that fun stuff. The hard part is knowing where to start and when to stop.
- For the longest time I have been wanting to take and post a picture of a crucified stuffed bear in my neighborhood that has been there since I got here, now that I have a camera on me at all times I will.
- My cat officially owns us now, lately he has been barking (weird huh?) orders at us and we step to no problem. If he didn't have asthma and need a puffer I would probably be harder on him.
- I love my blog. I have never successfully journalled in my entire life and now when I don't blog I miss it. I am proud of it and love going back to older posts.
That's it for now but if I haven't said it before, thanks for sharing your time with me, it means a lot that you would read my ramblings.
