Gamma Bomb...

OK, so I was at some friends the other night, and as we were talking we realized we needed to have some libations. The thing is they had what seemed to be a random selection of mixers, but I had a plan. Keep in mind we weren't going for put you under the table here, just something fun and refreshing to sip on while we talked.

When I was a kid I used to mix drinks for my mom. Picture these amazing concoctions:

- Orange juice and milk - a "chunky" drink to be polite.

- Orange juice and toothpaste - who knew I would be years ahead of my time?

- Water and toothpaste - meh.

There were others, and my mom, bless her heart drank each and every one of them.

So I went back to old faithful. Orange juice. It is a good starter for any drink. In looking in the cupboard above the fridge I found, amongst other things, Frangelico (Hazelnut - that aint gonna work), Peach Schnapps (hmmm... fuzzy navelesque?), Rye (wasn't sure on that one), Blue Curacao (new we're talking, that is citrus too), and... ah ha! Triple Sec. Suddenly I had a plan. Turns out they has Sprite too and we were off to the races. Now, you need to know I don't really have a recipe per se but I will give it my best shot!

1 ounce Blue Curacao
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
4 ounces Orange Juice
Sprite to fill

Now like I said, I am not big on specific recipes so you may have to fiddle with it a bit but it is good totally good! It tastes like Lime Kool-Aid and is one of those be-careful-because-you-cant-taste-the-alcohol kind of drinks.

The best things about this is that I get to name it. I don't even care if this drink already exists and I am just a monkey on a type writer, I am naming it. Now and forevermore this drink will be called the GAMMA BOMB!

There is a reason for this. A Hulk related reason. The experiment that changed Bruce Banner into the Hulk was a Gamma explosion. You pour Blue Curacao into mild mannered orange juice and BOOM! that orange juice is ready to rock and roll with the added concept that if you drink too many of these you will end up looking like this:
