I need to gush a little bit, yesterday I picked up a DVD that is quite possibly the asweomest thing in my long history as a Def Leppard fan. Sorry, did I lose you there? That’s right Def Leppard baby. They are awesome no matter what anyone says. They are the ultimate in cheese harmony rock and I love it.
Anyhoo, they released a greatest hits DVD yesterday re-mastered in Dolby 5.1. That’s 5 channels of discreet sweet harmonic audio and a pulse pounding .1 of wicked awesome bass. Joe Elliott on the centre channel and the rest of the guys on the surrounds makes for a truly amazing experience. Their videos are usually nothing special except the ones from Hysteria and Adrenalize, but the sound is sooooo sweet. I am a very happy fan. In fact, I may write them a letter thanking them write now.
